RED LODGE LOVES A PARADE!
Join us all three days at High Noon for our 95th year of the Home of Champions Parades!
This year’s theme is “Glory to the West”.
Our Grand Marshal is Alvin Ellis Jr.
Former Montana State Senator and Representative, Alvin Ellis, Jr. has been selected as the Grand Marshal of the 2025 Home of Champions Rodeo Parade. A Luther, MT. native, Alvin was born in 1936 and still resides on his family’s ranch where they homesteaded in 1886. A graduate of Red Lodge High School and Montana State, Alvin earned a Bachelors’ Degree in Animal Science and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army.
Prior to his service in the House of Representatives and Senate, Alvin was a successful rancher, served on three school boards, and was past Exalter Ruler of the Red Lodge Beartooth Elks Lodge #534. Alvin was also a member of the Stockgrowers Association, Farm Bureau, Lions Club and Rotary.
Alvin and his lovely wife, Maureen, have been married for 64 years. They have three sons, one daughter, nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. In addition to his love for his family, Alvin loves to fish, hunt and ski.

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
Parade registration will begin at 10 am each of the three days at the Civic Center parking lot which will be closed to public parking.
The Parade line up will also be at the Parking lot entries will then be directed to Broadway and 16th Street and at 12 noon will head North on Broadway to 5th street.
Thanks to the Home of Champions Rodeo there is still no fee for entering the Parades!
