Xtreme Bulls bull riders include the top bull riders from the PRCA World Standings as well as contestants who advance through Xtreme Bulls qualifying events.

JULY 2-4 - HOME OF CHAMPIONS RODEO
Join us for the 94th Home of Champions Rodeo featuring some of professional rodeo’s top cowboys and cowgirls.
The Red Lodge Rodeo dates back to the late 1890’s with local cowboys getting together on a Sunday afternoon at the railroad stockyards to ride exhibition broncos. In 1929, a group of local cowboys built an arena, gathered up some wild horses, charged admission and contested the rides. In 1930, wth the success of the rodeo the year before, the Red Lodge Rodeo Association was formed. In 1932, the Association acquired 180 acres of land and they went to work building a new arena and grandstand at its present location. In 1954, after local cowboy Bill Linderman won his third World All Around Champion Title, the name”HOME OF CHAMPIONS” was adopted.
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) is the largest rodeo organization in the world. It sanctions events in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with members from said countries, as well as others. Its championship event is the National Finals Rodeo (NFR).

Rodeo Announcer - Doug Mathis
Honored in 2019 with the WPRA Announcer of the Year Award, longtime PRCA member Doug Mathis, in his 29 year career, has become a top rodeo announcer in the PRCA, being heard all over the country at rodeos like the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, he has also announced the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo (2005), the Wilderness Circuit Finals since 2015, 2x Mountain States finals and Prairie Circuit Finals (2006), he calls the action at the New Mexico State Fair & Rodeo (Albuquerque), the Kit Carson County Pro Rodeo in Burlington, Colorado, the Central Wyoming Fair & PRCA Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming and the Home of Champions Rodeo in Red Lodge, Montana, The Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo in Stephenville, Texas as well as many others.
In addition to his announcing duties, Mathis’ voice can also be heard on TV and radio in various commercials. He has appeared in the movie “Pure Country” with George Strait, and in season 4, episode 9 of the Taylor Sheridan TV blockbuster “Yellowstone”.
Doug has worked in the NFR media room for over 25 years making sure the round winners get to the TV interviews each night as well as help facilitate any media contestant interview requests.
Doug is a National Endorsee for Wrangler, Fenoglio Boots, and Capital Hatters Hats.
When Doug and his beautiful wife Dee are not on the road they can be found on their ranch outside Stephenville, Texas enjoying family time with their daughter Shiloh and her husband Luke and grandson Brodie.

Rodeo Clown/Barrelman - Scot Allerdings
Scot Allerdings grew up around the rodeo world. His father competed as a bareback rider and team roper during his rodeo days, and his grandfather competed as a rough stock rider and roper as well. Going along to several rodeos as a youngster, he too got the rodeo bug. At the rodeos, Scot was attracted to the bullriding event. Not only watching the riders, but also by paying close attention to the rodeo clown/bullfighters.
Growing up, Scot participated in several other sports, such as baseball, basketball and wrestling. In 1994 he started his rodeo career as a bullrider. After a few years of competing, Scot decided to give bullfighting a try in the practice pen at college. In 2000 he attended a school taught by World Champion Bullfighter Loyd Ketchum. By 2003 he was approved for his PRCA bullfighter card. In 2006 and 2007 he was selected to work as a bullfighter at the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo, and in 2007 he was selected as a bullfighter at the prestigious Dodge (RAM) National Circuit Finals Rodeo.
It was during his years of fighting bulls that he was able to work with several of the best rodeo clowns the industry has to offer. Scot helped out, on several occasions, with clown acts and started to study the art of the rodeo clown and barrelman. While working a couple rodeos, Scot was told that he should get a few acts started. Over the next few years he started to think up different act possibilities. In 2009 an opportunity to work as a rodeo clown and barrelman presented itself to Scot. He chose to give it a try. Over the next couple years he honed his clowning skills while working at the Jackson Hole Rodeo summer series. During the summer of 2011 he received his PRCA clown/barrelman card and in 2012 was able to take his act to several PRCA rodeos around the country. Scot was selected to work as the Barrelman at the 2021 RAM First Frontier Circuit Finals and the 2022 RAM Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo.
During his performances, Scot provides several means of high-quality family entertainment. From his family friendly comedy to high-energy entertainment to new exciting acts, Scot will keep the crowd entertained throughout the event. Scot loves to work with the youth and will do whatever he can to help promote the sport of rodeo, in a positive fashion.
While not working rodeos, Scot works with the youth of America as a High School Physical Education teacher. In 2021 Scot was the Wyoming High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year. Scot also works a High School wrestling official when possible.
He is truly a “Class Clown”!!
